Becoming MomStrong, by Heidi St. John

Heidi does a fantastic job using humor and authenticity to remind us of our job as mother's especially in today's world. She encourages us to walk beside each other, to stand strong in our faith, and to raise our children in God's word. Constantly reminding us to read what God has to say about how we are to live our lives, she uses her own life to let us know that we overcome anything with God's help (and those around us). Mothering is hard and today's times with all the immorality and selfishness our kids face, it is our job as mother's to raise them with a strong moral compass based on their faith. We must fight and win this battle for our kids hearts, our own and those of our country's. We can only do this by Becoming Mom Strong! Loving, Encouraging, Authentic, Strong!

Omw!!!! This is a must have in your library!!! I have been listening to Heidi on her podcast for the past 2-3 years, and her words have had such a great impact on my personal and homeschooling life. Reading Becoming MomStrong has been such an eye opener for me as an individual, wife and mom!! If you want to know you're not alone in this journey called motherhood or grandmotherhood, this book is for you. I have cried and laughed through different chapters and often times have felt like someone was writing my life stories and experiences. It was a privilege to preview this book as part of the book launch team and I can't wait to see how it will bless others.

Becoming Mom Strong is the most encouraging book I have ever read. Heidi St. John encourages you to study the Word, disciple your children, and to encourage other moms to do the same. As a mother of 7 as well, I look forward to being part of this Becoming Mom Strong Movement.

The most empowering parenting book Ive ever read! This is not a book full of formulas to fix your kids. It is refreshment and balm for moms, which enables their hearts to be fortified so they can be ready to fight this battle from a place of courage and confidence! Heidi knows how to bring big ideas to the bottom shelf so they are practical and easily understood. Her writing is transparent, and she shares from experience how the principles in these chapters have strengthened her as a Christian woman and mom. Im a pastors wife, blogger, and womens event speaker, and I have to say this book is great reading for any lady in a mentoring relationship with kids, not only mothers. Learning the difference between the voice of conviction and the voice of condemnation, how to face my fears (prior to this book, I never viewed myself as fearfulnow I am equippedso I can say Not today Satan!), how to prepare my kids for rejection and help them suit up in defense of the gospelthese are only a few things Ive learned from Heidis book. Ive done numerous book studies with groups over the years, and Im right now excitedly planning my own study through Becoming MomStrong to encourage other moms (and reinforce what Ive learned for myself!) using this gem of a resource. Highly recommend!

Strength comes from within, from a spirit fed by and led by the Holy Spirit. There is no way in the world to raise the next generation for the Lord without know Him and the power of His might. Heidi reminds me as a mother, that I don't have to do it all, do it alone, or do it in my own strength. The Lord has promised to do it through me, with me and by His strength. But I must KNOW Him to take Him up on that promise.A highly encouraging read for the modern Christian mom of any age. This book is a must-read for Christian moms who want to raise godly children without fear of what our cultures say. You will be encouraged and emboldened to stand as a warrior, and your parenting and faith will be changed.

What an encouragement. This book is such a blessing for any parent. The pages spill forth with God and his word. You can tell Heidi's great love for Christ as you read this. Coming from a homeschooling mom of 7, Heidi gives practical advice that is a blessing for old or young, new or experienced parents. My best advice is for you to put this in your court and buy it immediately. You will not be sorry.

Heidi St. John has blessed this culture with her calling from God to write this book. This is a must read for all Moms, it will strengthen your heart and give you a boldness that you may have never known. This world is so much about the things NOT of God and this book is an amazing tool for Moms to be strong in this corrupt world and be bold in standing up for THINGS of Christ when it comes to our kids.
