He is Risen Tract
Page 1:
A very long time ago, God created the world and everything in in. He created everything to be perfect and to last forever, including people! God created people to walk with Him and talk with Him in person, in a perfect world.
Page 2:
Then a terrible thing happened! People disobeyed God, committing the first sin. The perfect world was broken. Bad things started happening. The worst bad thing was separation from God. The punishment for sin is separation from God forever!
Page 3:
This made God very sad. People were very sad too. So God came up with a plan. He would send His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for sin. Jesus would die on a cross and be buried in a tomb. Then on the third day, He would rise from the dead and show the world that He had conquered sin and death.
Page 4:
And that's what Jesus did. He made the way for people to be with God forever in heaven where everything is perfect. Today we celebrate that as Easter. But we don't automatically go to heaven when we die. We have to first ask Jesus to forgive our sins and be obedient to Him. We have to pray and ask Him into our hearts. Easter is the perfect time to do that!
