The goal of A Simple Plan is to not to overwhelm you with endless tracking forms and information. We're here to help you keep everything simple, the way it should be. This year's planner is a return to form, measures 9 1/4 x 11 inches, & focuses on the design and features you love. Add, modify, skip, or do whatever you need to do with these tools to help train up your children in the way they should go.
Here's a summary of our simple features:
Calendars
Yearly, monthly, and weekly calendars are provided for easy planning. Use these to note holidays, special occasions, school activities, and more.
Student Plans
Develop a basic weekly schedule for each of your students, and set objectives for them each semester.
Monthly Planning Pages
These will enable you to make reading lists, plan special activities, and note supplies needed for the month.
Weekly Assignment Planning
Lay out lesson plans for the week for your children, or use this space to record the work that was completed.
Student Records
Log attendance, in an easy and convenient way. Forms are also provided to keep track of the curriculum and supporting materials you have purchased for each student.
Extras
Includes grading chart, suggested reading list, contact information pages for extracurricular activities, extra pages for future planning, notes, the Way of Salvation, suggested basic scriptures, and more!
You won't find detailed budget forms, fitness plans, chore charts, or report cards. Nor will you find pages for personal information, medical records, or family trees. While these are all good things, they can get overwhelming and take away from the features you need to use the most. Get back to the simplicity of homeschool planning with A Simple Plan.
Aside from peak seasons, most orders will ship within 2-3 business days and tracking is provided via email when the order is given to the carrier. Delivery usually takes an additional 3-4 business days, and some locations can take longer for the carrier to complete delivery.

roughly 25 pages are the same page. "yearly overview" breaking down 4 quaters. with studets name and subject. records does not inclde a page for grade log. shipping cost too much to return. have to buy another log for weekly grades or use note pages.
Reverted Back to 22-23
This is the same planner that has been made through 2022. For the 23-24 school year, they made some upgrades & changes that I LOVED, but they reverted back to the 22-23: no laminated cover, no brass binding, back to the cumbersome thickness
Wonderful return to quality
What a wonderful return to the quality and features that I’ve loved for so many years in A Simple Plan homeschool planner! The thick paper which can handle all of my favorite pens, along with the thicker tabs are my two favorite features. Thanks!!
Not a fan of this version
I loved my 1st planner last year- which is a miracle-I don't use planners. This year- I don't like the heaviness of this one, the binding, or the flimsy cover. Last year's still looks new- this one upon receiving already has bent, crushed corners!
THE Best Planner
I have purchased about 6 different homeschool planners and this is hands down the best of them all. Please, Mardel, never change this, it's PERFECT! All of the sections are so great and are wonderful for detailed planning.
Great planner, but
I wish the paper weight didn't go down. The paper is much thinner now. The previous ones I have had were a heavier weight. I still like the planner though. Well laid out.
I loved the 22-23 planner
I wish I had the option to get the planner you created for the 22-23 school year. I love your planner but it is too thick and heavy. Please bring back the laminated and compact version. When you do I will continue buying it.
Back to the OG quality!
This will be my 5th year using A Simple Plan planner and I'm SO happy they took our advice to return to the quality of years past! The binding and paper thicknes are great this year and I'm so happy about that! Thank you, mardel!

Please, please, please go back to the new layout of 23-24. It was smaller, laminated, better coil and just so great. I went with a different plannee this year because I couldn't go back to the tired design of the past.
